From preparing the original material to delivering digital files. The scope and post-production work are agreed based on condition and intended use.
Frame-by-frame scanning of positive and negative film at up to 6K, with agreed framing and overscan available. Delivery in DPX, ProRes, H.264 or other formats.
Digitalization of professional videotape formats and cassettes, from 1-inch Type C, U-matic and Betacam to DVCPro HD and HDV. Upscaling from SD to Full HD is available.
Colour and exposure correction, stabilisation and editing as agreed. Processing and scope are defined before work begins.
Digitalization of commag (magnetic) and comopt (optical) soundtracks, synchronisation and encoding for master, working and viewing files.

Workflow
Your quote is based on the format, condition and intended use of the material. Resolution, file format and any restoration work are agreed for each project.
We establish the format, condition, quantity, intended use and required quality.
Film is inspected, spliced and cleaned by hand or with professional film-cleaning equipment.
Film is scanned frame by frame. Video is transferred from its original format, including sound.
Named master, working or viewing files are delivered in the agreed codec and resolution.
Delivery
Delivery by download or on physical storage media, as agreed.
